Commercial Remote Pilot Ground School

This Part 107 prep course provides learners with a sturdy foundation of required aeronautical knowledge for remote pilots of UAS less than 55 pounds. The curriculum addresses all pertinent aeronautical knowledge factors outlined by the FAA for the Unmanned Aircraft General (UAG) examination and augments those with safety concepts and practices to develop well-informed and responsible remote pilots. learners who complete the course receive a certificate of completion from USI and are well-prepared to pass the UAG exam.

sUAS Safety Certification Level 1

The Fundamentals of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and components of RPAS, focusing on their design, operation, and applications. learners will gain a solid understanding of the foundational concepts, regulatory frameworks, control systems, data links, and payloads associated with RPAS. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and discussions, learners will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work with RPAS technology effectively. 

sUAS Visual Line of Sight Operations (VSO) Ground

The VSO Ground course provides a comprehensive overview of Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) operations in the field of small remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS). Learners will gain a thorough understanding of the essential concepts, skills, and best practices necessary for conducting safe and effective VLOS operations. Through a combination of theoretical instruction, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will develop the knowledge and skills required to confidently and responsibly operate RPAS within a visual line of sight.
